8/18/2011 2:29:00 PM It's about a 150' drop from the top tees to the fairway. There used to be a "Lone Pine" tree that was on the right....right at the corner growing on an outcropping of rock. You could tee off and hit it OVER the pine tree and slightly to the right of it and clear the hill on the right. A nice hit will put you a chip to the green. It's a 368 yard hole from the top tee but your drive will fly forever! Crossville is midway between Nashville and Knoxville on I-40. Go North about 6 miles on Peavine Road (I think exit #322) to Fairfield Glade. Once you are actually "in" Fairfield Glade, turn left at the stoplight and drive for about 2 miles (maybe shorter) till you see Heatherhurst Golf Club on left. It has two courses (Brae and Crag). This one is Crag. There are 6 unbelievable courses in Fairfield Glade to play. I will be living just to the right of the trees on the right of this hole soon. |
