Snow covered 4 Peaks Mnts. to the east of downtown Phoenix. Golf in the valley, ski in the mnts. No other place where you can drive less than 30min. and leave 55-70f and be skiing on the slopes.

4 peaks is 100 miles away and you can't ski them, nice pic

Too bad there's no ski slopes within an hour of Phoenix. At least Tucson has Mt Lemon only 45 minutes to the slope on US most southern ski slope. But the county closes the road to the ski slope whenever it snows! Go figure.
