I played the first 7 holes with my driver, Burner with a custom shaft. After plus 5 in those 7 holes, I decided that I did not enjoy that shaft, thus snapping it over my knee, and playing out the remaining 11 holes plus 1 with my 3 wood.

Oh noooooo DH...it had to be done. It guaranteed that I wouldn't use it anymore and hurt my game. However, I played in a tournament over the weekend and dominated with control drives with my 3 wood, and that's hard considering the snow and wind Vegas has had lately.

You could have used your 3 wood with out breaking the driver, Maybe next time

Graphite shafts...I played with a guy who barely tapped a rock with the shaft and it exploded.

So that's what a Golf Course abortion looks like, you got de-shafted!!!!

Snap goes the shaft! Or did the shaft get shafted? Or maybe the shaft got the shaft? Or maybe the shaft got the chaff? Or... I'll stop now :-)
