Big changes to Pinehurst No. 2 are underway by Coore and Crenshaw. Large areas of manicured rough are being removed and replaced with native wire grass to recreate the Donald Ross original design. Also, some new tee boxes will add length to challenge players in 2014 when the US Mens and Womens Open comes to Pinehurst.
