Congrats on your accomplishment

Thanks to everyone for the congrats! It was my first one after 30+ years of playing. The coolest part was on 7/16 the afternoon before, I missed making a hole-in-one on TPC at Las Colinas on #13 by 6" using an 8-iron to almost the identical distance, front pin, about 140. As we were walking onto the #7 Mockingbird tee box at Grapevine on Saturday, I was joking with my friends about how close I had come the day before. I walked onto the tee and actually said, "Well, I guess it's just Hole-in-One time!" And I'll be darned if it didn't go in. My heart was pounding for the next two holes because I made the shot and also because of calling it! Suffice it to say, we went to Lone Star Park on Sunday for the last day of racing for the spring season.......unfortunately the luck of the links does NOT translate into luck with the ponies!
Thanks again to all of the well wishers. I hope it's not another 30 years before the next one!
