hey everyone, haven't been on in some time. babies sure do take up a lot of (previously) free time!

anyhow, i'm thinking i will be replacing my wedges soon. kind of a wedge snob and looking for forged options. not happy that titleist and cleveland cast now. wondering if anyone has any suggestions of which route to go? thinking i might try mizuno, or maybe fourteen or edel. any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated.

cheers!

I've been playing Fourteen V4 wedges for the last 3 seasons. Now that they are a few seasons old, you can get them for a song on eBay. Really soft forging and won't tear the cover off the ball.

Switched to forged wedges last year. Love them.. get them.. do whatever you have to do.. beg, borrow, steal.. your golf game will thank you.

I am crazy about specs and I want them to be exact. For that reason I would have sent you to Scratch Tour Custom that would hand grind a wedge to your specs. That being said they just went out of business.

I think Edel Golf does the same thing.

I am thinking of a new set of wedges and am planning on some drastic bounce angles.

You need to invest in a good back brace and one of those inversion tables.
