I noticed that the slope and rating for one of my local courses did not match the USGA website and submitted a ticket (I was told that the USGA site is the source of this information unless it itself is outdated).

Question: if a correction needs to occur, can the admins correct the slope and rating for scores that have already been posted (counted towards my handicap) without me having to re-key the hbh stats?

Anybody run into this recently?

I would normally advise you to submit a support ticket. In this case I would recommend submitting one for each course that is different as well as one per round with the incorrect ratings. Good luck!

Scorecards can be outdated. You can check with the pro shop ... but the state association is where the slope and rating information is pulled from. You can request a scorecard check anytime. Just go as if you are posting a score and where you choose a tee box, you see a scorecard check request at the bottom. They'll check the info and make any necessary corrections and send you a confirmation. I've done several over the years.

Very happy to say that this issue was resolved very quickly. Once the rating & slope were corrected in the system, I only had to click on "edit score" and then "save" for the affected rounds. The revised rating/slope were automatically applied. All of the HBH stats remained in tact. Thumbs up!
