Will the press be fickle or not after Spieth melt down

Wow even the best have real bad days. I guess all of them have, but considering the melt down today, do any of you think the press will back off now on calling him the new wonder boy? I hope not, because I think he is and will be one of the greatest.

Kaymer, Donald, McElroy, etc etc...all headed to wonder boy status. The next Tiger Woods so the talking heads wish. Time will prove who they all actually are. Rory was lighting it up and now all the attention is on Spieth? Spieth having a stellar year. So has others. Let's see how it all goes for him next year and the year after.....

Agreed. I just get fed up with the press being all up one day and down on a person the next. Golf is in great shape with the new players we have. And the old guys are still holding their own, just not as often. :-)

He played badly at Sawgrass this year and everyone said it was a Masters hangover. Irrelevant what they say since he'll probably win at least once more before the calendar turns to 2016.
