I was thinking about Pro-Am tournaments and just wondering how much you would pay to play a round of Golf with Tiger Woods, not at a pro-am but a round at the course of your choice, no TV camera's, galleries, etc.
Not a fan of Tiger? What would you pay and which Golfer. Have you played golf with Tiger or another Tour player? Please give us details. Thanks |

Whatever the green fee was.

Whatever the green fee was. Yeah it's just another human being. Just because TMZ talks about them doesn't mean you have to pay more $$$ to golf with them. |

Being that I golf for fun (despite the profanity I mumble under my breath), I'd like my pro partner to be a fun guy (or gal) so I could enjoy my day. Probably Rocco Mediate would be my choice; he'd buy the greens fees, I'd buy the beers.

If money was no problem, I have heard $10,000 for a round, but the experience and the knowledge that you would acquire cannot be measured by money.

Mike stole my reply...I ain't about to pay anything extra than a green fee to play with somebody. It's just golf.
When he still lived in Dallas, I played with Rick Karbowski, a Champions Tour player, about once a month, sometimes twice a month. Great experience watching how he fit his shots into the golf holes. Great ballstriker, and great putter. Didn't really make any mistakes and that was fun to watch. I watched him shoot 65 a couple times. Got to caddy for him once. I've actually beat him for 9 holes a couple times but never for 18. The golfer I'd most want to play with would be Jack Nicklaus. After that, maybe Freddie. |

would rather play with Nat, or Paula and would only pay more than green fee if it was for charity.

Nothing. I'd love to play a round of golf with Tiger if he would loosen up and re-learn that golf is fun and winning/beating someone else is just dessert after the main course. Until he re-learns that he will not recover his greatness.

I don't need to play golf with anyone. Zach Johnson is throwing a charity tournament at my country club this year and the supposed list of pros is pretty great. I could potentially play in that tournament, but I would be doing it for fun and not to play with the professionals.
Plus the money goes to charity, so its golf and a right off. |

Ever had a chance to play a round with him? Seems like a good guy. |

He's a good guy but very busy and to-the-point, which can come off as rude to some people. There is a SLIGHT chance I might play with him this spring. I ain't holding my breath though. |
