Yeah! Lot's of them! If you want to drop $130-$150 then Links At Lighthouse Sound. Other very nice courses are River Run (Gary Player design), Rum Pointe (nice view but pretty easy course), Eagles Landing, Man O' War, War Admiral, Ocean City Golf Club (Newport Course). Just in to Delaware is Baywood Greens (pricy but very nice) and Bear Trap Dunes (27 holes). Nicest course for a reasonable price would probably be Eagle's Landing. But if $ is not an issue then spoil yourself at Lighthouse, River Run, Baywood Greens, Man O' War and War Admiral.
Remember, you're playing resort area courses so they are going to be more than you're used to paying. Stay away from The Bay Club and Ocean Pines. Yes, they're cheaper but there's a reason why they're cheaper. |

I usually don't pay more than cart fees because of my job and having both my PGA Apprentice and Superintendents Cards but I don't mind paying full price for a nice course. |

Just found out that we will be staying in Salisbury, MD. What about Nutters Crossing there?

Just found out that we will be staying in Salisbury, MD. What about Nutters Crossing there? Never played Nutter's Crossing. Eagles Landing is a great course, prices are also very reasonable. River Run is a favorite GolfNow almost always has reasonable rates available. There is absolutely nothing wrong with either course at the Bay Club, both are well maintained and challenging. |

Just found out that we will be staying in Salisbury, MD. What about Nutters Crossing there? Nutters Crossing is average. From what I remember it was very short. Maybe 6000 from the tips. If you're staying there, then maybe Baywood Greens would be your best bet. |

I recommend that you find a good vendor in the area who wants to entertain you and let them pay for it. Those rounds can get expensive so it's much less expensive when you don't come out of your own pocket. You can literally saves hundreds.

Actually after thinking about it, if I had just one course to play here it would be Eagles Landing. All other considerations aside, it's always in great shape, it has enough tee box selection to test anyone's game, and the views from one end of the course to the other are nothing less than spectacular! |
