Is there a method to clean up incorrect ratings and slopes for golf courses? My home course has double entries for the same tees, and this causes errors in postings, and incorrect handicaps.

It is hard for us to determine which tees are correct and which are incorrect. That's why we give the golfer the ability input tees. However, yearly ratings and slopes are adjusted and we have old data vs. new data... etc.

I don't mind cleaning up a particular course that has bad tees. Please send me the course and the list of correct tee slope ratings and total yardage and will delete the bad data.

Thank you, and I hope this doesn't generate a bunch of requests for this.

Springfield G.C. Fort Mill SC (course=27290)

Remove:

Back 73.8/143
Back (1) 72/139
Back (1)(1) 72/139

If you can, change the Champ slope to 145

How can I add tees for just the front 9 and then just the back 9? There is a big difference in the slope for each side? I was not allowed to submit tees with on side containing 0's.

Thanks again,

Jeff

Typically an 18 hole course doesn't have individual 9 hole ratings. Is this the case? Our system allows 9 hole ratings and slopes for 9 hole or 27 hole facilities only.

BTW: I deleted the requested Tees and changed the champ tees to 145.

We play a weekly 9 hole dogfight. When I post 9 hole rounds I look up the rating/slope for the side I play and manually enter.

By requesting 9 hole tees, I'm trying to eliminate posting errors by my members. I cannot determine which of my club members scores are combined 9 rounds when viewing scores from the club page. Also from a golfer's profile page, I can see combined rounds, but not which tees or the rating/slope they used.

I'm just thinking to eliminate errors, there could be separate listings for Back Front 9 including the correct rating/slope. That would help eliminate incorrect postings, but, would hit the db big time.

Thanks,

Jeff

So if the course has a 9 hole rating/slope... is the course a 9 hole or 27 hole facility?

I just found that I can see the rating/slope used when I view a players 9 hole scores only. That's a long way to go to check postings.

I think most courses have rating/slope for each 9, even when it is an 18 hole course.

Look at Cahoon Plantation on the GHIN site,

Although, there was no entry for High Meadows Ranch.

By the way, I see Augusta National listed as one of your courses. If you played it, I'd love to read a post about your experience.

Good Morning. I have incorrectly chosen the wrong white tee slope for Woodbridge Golf Links in Shelby. Can someone go in and change all the Woodbridge slope rating on my postings this year to 125 instead of 140?
This obviously makes a big difference. Ron Mechling

You can correct your score w/ the correct slope and rating. Just click the edit link next to your score on the My Game page.
