I had a nice ending to my day at work! So, my intern and I are standing on #11 green when we hear the sqilling of tires and a loud crash between us and the clubhouse. We both look to #10 green and see a cart turned over with 3 guys trying to turn it back upright. The first thing that I notice upon arriving ar the accident is a guy holding his arm. As soon as I saw what had happened I knew exactly what the idiots had done. Hole 10 is just shy of 200 yds long and severely down hill for the first 160 yds before going about 25 feet uphill to the green over the last 30 yds. They desided that it would be fun to take the cart out of gear and fly down the hill. They then hit a bump at the bottom and lost control, turning the cart sideways and flipping it on its side. The driver hit his head on the path and got his wrist stuck between the frame and path. Luckily the 5 year old kid on the cart was not injured and his father who was sitting in the passenger seat was unscathed. There was minimal damage to the cart with just scrapes on the wheel fenders and side of the roof.
