Good for you, Norman. I played Myrtle in 2004. Loved it!!! Caledonia is one of the older yet premier golf courses. Have fun and play well.. Got to go the Boardwalk and eat at Caddyshack. Bill Murray (and his brothers) own the place. Lots of memorabilia.

I was just down there a few weeks ago. I played Pine Lakes International CC. It was in great shape and the staff were great. Caddyshack and Margaritaville are two places that you must go eat at.

Agree with Mongo about Caledonia. Tidewater is outstanding, too.
Benjamin's buffet is a must. Dick's Last Resort has good food and a ton of laughs, and Greg Norman's Australian Grille has excellent food. Both are at Barefoot Landing. |

My worst round in years but loved the layout and views. Norman's Grille is excellent but be warned, very pricey. |

Caledonia is a nice track, lots of very pretty golf holes and the course was in great condition...but, the fee was $200. I'm glad I've played it because I've heard about the course for some time, but I doubt I'll play it again...unless I can get a big break on the fee. It's simply not a $200 course, regardless of the season.

Welcome to my neck of the woods. I go there every year for a getaway. Lots of great course's too many to mention however I have played a third of the total courses in the area. Caledonia is one of the more memorable ones as well as The Dunes Club and Farmstead Links (has a par 767 yd par 6 that starts in SC and ends up in NC) While there make sure to stop by Calabash and eat at the original Calabash seafood hut. Best Calabash sytle ever. Have fun and enjoy the low country, slow pace and over 115 courses in the area. Great resource online to check rates, use www.mbn.com or www.myrtlebeachgolf.com.
