What a joke. Sometimes people really need to just keep their mouth shut. Hank is a great coach, but I don't think he's got a clue about Strength & Conditioning.
More strength is never bad in any competition.
Body composition changes can be tough to adjust to, if you haven't been working on your swing.

That's my rant for now

Perhaps at age 38, Tiger may be trying to recover lost youth. One can become too "big" as it changes the dynamics of that persons swing.

it isn't the amount of size added or lost, but the fact that they aren't continuing to work on the swing while making the changes to their body.
Plenty of portly golfers have said losing a bunch of weight killed their swing.
I think Sean Foley has even stated that Tiger didn't touch the clubs for a long period of time.

Haney is a whiner.. I read his book "The Big Miss".. The last chapter summed it up why he wrote the book.. his record vs Harmon's record.. lost respect for him.. he's a sell out.

I agree that he is probably too big. If you lose flexibility it's an issue. His training certainly played a role in his knee issues.

I agree that he's too big just because he didn't need to get big. He hit the ball a bloody mile being young and flexible. Seems yoga or something like that would have served him better than SEAL training. Just my two cents.

I don't agree with either point, Lewis. Sure a loss in flexibility can be an issue, but age will negatively effect flexibility. I think his knee was beaten down by 'a young man's swing' and he's been trying to fix that.

c'momn Dandy, yoga alone isn't adding yardage to anyone's swing. And again, had he done yoga without working on his swing, he wouldn't have improved his game.

Right or wrong, Haney has the guys to come back and lick the master after he bite him.
Shameless, all the mouthing off after they had departed relationship and a failed book launch he has the nerve to comment on TW.
Go hide under some shade, since you had forgotten where you came from. Butch Harmon never bad mouth TW because he is smarter.
