I'm thinking about joining the golf channel am tour next season and would love to hear from anyone that has played on it to see what they thought/think of it.

I was going to do the same thing a few years ago until I found out about all of the sandbagging.

I played the Nature Valley Amateur in Las Vegas and Scottsdale. I enjoyed both and would have done more had they not folded. I, too, would like a regular Amateur Tour to play on. |

They do but it takes 5 events for them to establish proper flighting and by then the damage is usually done. |

Go to http://www.amateurgolftour.net/ They have tours all over the nation. I have played on it for the last 3 years and thoroughly enjoy it. They also have a SR. Tour as well.

Rumours abound of an "uneven playing field" on this tour - try the GOLFWEEK Amateur Tour instead - handicaps are verified and you will not have to deal with sandbaggers.
