Wondering what type of gloves some have found that works better for or her and why. I use the Spider by FJ. Think I just like the look and the feel is just ok. Been using the Spider for several years, actually afraid to change. The glove sizing for this glove fits me well, which is a Large Cadet. I have short stocky fingers.
Probably a old subject so forgive if its been a past subject, mostly wanted to just say Hi..!
Thanks...

I usually bought whatever was on sale but Snake Eyes rubbed me in wrong places.. I like the Nike Mesh ones.. It moves with the hand and lasts longer..

I currently use the Callaway X Hot gloves but I have come like the Callaway XSpann gloves and may switch to them.

I never have been partial to any brand of glove. As long as its a fairly new one

I use a regular Nike glove which always works fine. I've also got FJ rain gloves which are even better, when you're playing in wet weather of course.

If the glove doesn't fit, you will play like $hlt.

I don't wear gloves. I know this doesn't work for everyone, but for me this gives me maximum feel while maintaining good connection to the club.

I never wore gloves until I moved to Texas five years ago, but....

I didn't wear them until I had to get stitches in my finger last summer. The scar tissue is still sensitive to pressure and torqueing if I do not have a glove on.

Used the TaylorMade Targa Tour for a year or so, now I'm wearing the Mizuno Retroflex Pro. I have long skinny fingers, so finding a brand/model that fits right is sometimes a challenge.

I have large hands. Many brands I have tried even the extra large fits too tight. The Nike Dura Feel is offered at a decent price and fits me well. While I usually wear a glove until I'm on or around the green I sometimes don't wear one at all.

Great responses,
Thanks..
Here in SE Texas ( Sweat City ) to me a glove is needed. Although I have gone bare handed with needed to be replace grips and had more gripping ability or less control when I make a Big swing or long shot. Sometime I wear a wrist band to help keep my hands dry but in 100 degrees or this high humidity we have here, is a problem. I'm blaming my recent scoring on all this sweating for my lose of control. :)

Hell I might have to become a 2 glove Tommy

Thanks,
WD

Foot Joy weather soft. I like the fit, they stay cool, and still grip well if damp.

I understand. Don't forget though that the glove is only half the equation. The grips on your clubs can make a huge difference. Make sure they are right for your size hands and appropriate for your humid environment. In general, that means you should be looking for a properly sized, high quality cord grip.

I had to play the last 5 without a glove when I lost mine at the course one day several years ago. Played those 5 in -2. I decided that day I would forgo a glove from then on. I still use rain and winter gloves when needed. I also keep a FJ Weather Soft in my bag just in case when its is hot and humid. I like that glove because it doesn't get dry or slick from sitting in my bag.
