I use GolfCard GPS for my iPhone, but they also make a version for Android. www.senygma.com/GolfCard/Home...
I think they also have a free version that you can try before you upgrade to the paid version. |

I use GolfLogix for GPS but it drains the battery within 10-12 holes....bought a USB external battery that works great!

GolfCard GPS is a great app, but my iPhone battery was done by the 15 th hole. Any help on that anyone? I usually put the phone on standby when I am taking a swing or waiting on my turn, then as I am driving or walking to the next shot, I will wake it to get the data for the next shot. It is rare that the phone is below 50% after the round. It seems like this is alot of on/off but it easy to get into a habit or sequence. I am not sure if the anroid version has a setting to "keep GPS on" in sleep mode... if it does, make sure this is off. Hope this helps. |
