In the Game Summary report, the totals of Eagles/Birdies/Pars/Bogies/Doubles/Other add up to more than 100%. I think you are ignoring Double Bogies in the total that you divide by--- throwing off the percentages. For example, my par percentage is actually the percentage of pars compared to all scores EXCEPT double bogies.

Also when you select a course to get the game summary statistics for a course, there are always 0 double bogies. Even for rounds where I know I had several double bogies.

Something is definitely off in the way you are displaying double bogies. For players who don't have many double bogies, no biggie. But for many of us who have a significant number of them, the worse it is! Makes the report of par percentage pretty much useless. Very sloppy of the site to do that. The reports should be accurate!

I agree. The stats by course has a number of issues.

Yep the quality of the reports is one reason I didn't renew my membership. They want more money for less quality.

I have a theory, with no way to validate or back it up. I'm guessing there used to be someone who worked here that actually knew what they were doing. They either asked for a raise, got offered more, got fed up with the accessory corporate claptrap... whatever. Point being they left and the site has been trundling aimlessly about with various pieces falling off along the way, and nobody knows what to do about it.

I just keep feeling there is another shoe about to drop!

I'm reading back over old posts and seeing people frustrated. Damn, I just joined cuz I thought it looked pretty good.

For what it's worth, someone fixed the main problem above with % of each score, so there is some work going on. I see two errors still on the reports:

1. When you pick a course to see HBH breakdown on the "Game Stats/Summary" report (new console), there are no double bogies shown. The double bogies DO SHOW correctly on another report on what appears to be an older part of the site. That report is under "My Game/Statistics/Course Statistics." All my double bogies by hole show fine there.

2. Same report, the "GIR Missed" should actually be labelled "GIR Total." Then the math is right. For me, I've played 8 rounds on this site, and GIR missed shows 144 (18x8=144, all of my holes).

It is a good site. As with anything, there is room for improvement. Most of what I enjoy about the site has to do with the people I've met and been in contact with.

They have done a great job controlling spam which used to be out of control, as well as keeping the forums clean and civil. The communication and vetting of site changes leave something to be desired at times. I try to keep in mind that as long as customers are paying for the service, the management can be forgiven if they overlook the grumblings of a vocal minority.

We had this reported about a month ago when the season was kicking getting under way and it was addressed. I'm not sure why the problem is persisting, but I'll look into it.

-- Edit --

I put in a timestamp to refresh the client site script. The stat, when the page is refreshed, should display correctly now.

A few of the graphs show Fairways Hit at 100% all the time. My graph does not change. Part of me wishes it wasn't a glitch because according to the graphs anyway, it's the best statistical golf I've played. :)

I looked at your stat's and did not see a 100% FIR on any report. Which graph are you referring to?

When you look at the circular graph for Driving Accuracy; mine is always 100%. I wish it was like that for real.

What web browser are you using? The stats I see on your reporting console adjust for each variation: course, time frame, etc.

Damn! You fixed it! It looked better when it was 100%. Is there any way you can make my putting stats look like I only hit 25 putts all the time????

You would be REALLY good if you could do that. THX

Thanks, GreenReader. Much appreciated. Here are the only two things wrong that I'm seeing in the new report console:

The double bogies DO SHOW correctly on another report on what appears to be an older part of the site. That report is under "My Game/Statistics/Course Statistics." For what it's worth, I'd love to see Driving Length in the New Report Console under Driving, similar to how it appears in the Driving report on the older reports (My Game/Statistics). The cool reporting here is definitely a big reason I joined here to track handicap for the year.

As long as you are here and participating in this thread... Are there any enhancements coming up? Do you have a way to solicit ideas from your user community? Or would you get overwhelmed with ush whining? Seems like you could glean a few good ideas from the people here on how to expand on the already robust reports that are available.

Best regards,
Randy

Bug 1&2 are fixed.
As for user input, we are always listening. Sometimes we are just slower to respond than other times. Forum participation is usually the best way to get to one of the developers, even though we encourage you to submit a support ticket. CSR's are doing a great job, but you wouldn't imagine the number of tickets we get for members that forgot their email address or password.

We are in the process of making some design changes, integrating tighter into Facebook and working on our iPhone app. We've also got plans this summer for an equipment timeline, where you can see your game change as your equipment changes... It's all in the works, just taking longer than we want it to...

Bug 1&2 are fixed.

Thanks! Appreciate the info and look forward to new things coming down the line. Bug 1 does appear fixed, but not bug #2 (I'm on Chrome browser on Windows laptop). On different reports "GIR Missed" shows different numbers. On the Summary report, "GIR Missed" appears to show what is actually "GIR Total" (or total holes played). Not a big deal, as the % is actually correct. The % is the key anyway, so I'm not too concerned.
