After many years of going to the Sox Patriots day game, and to the marathon to see friends running and finishing, glad I didn't attend this year. My thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this senseless act. There's a lot of info coming out at this point, so trying not to rush to judgement, but the person/people responsible for this should be hung in city hall square.

Prayers go out to those families of the victims of this tragedy. Hopefully this monster(s) will be caught and dealt with accordingly.

My thoughts and prayers also go out to everyone affected in Boston. As if my faith in humanity wasn't low already, it continues to drop and drop and drop...

Terrible situation Unfortunately there are too many cowards in this world that can seemingly only express themselves by harming innocent people

Don't let your faith in humanity drop because of the small percentage of wackos who want nothing more than to cause pain and destruction.

Instead, keep your eye on everyone else...HORDES of people jumped the fences and ran TOWARDS the danger in order to help those who were injured.

As has been wisely said before...whenever something bad happens, look for the helpers. It's easy to get caught up in the horror of an incident and completely ignore the help, love and compassion given by the vast majority of people.

Glad all the family is safe and sound. Born and raised in the Boston area for the 23 years of my life and it is an unspeakable tragedy. Still confusing that their are people out there in the world who get their kicks causing pain to others. Been in S FL for 20 years and you never disconnect from home. I am glad to see the heros jump into action. Proud to see brave people risk it all for others!

Thoughts and prayer to those whom got caught up in this tragedy.

Especially to the family which suffered the most.
The 8 years old boy whom died in the blast was with his mother and sister greeting his father whom just finished the race.
The sister lost a leg and the mother was in hospital with severe brain trauma.

Please send your prayer to this family if you have a minute.

Goodness... wasn't that awful to read?? Prayers go out to that family. The boy went over and hugged the dad when he crossed the finish line then went back over to where the mom and sis were and the bomb went off. It is hard to fathom.

Yes, very difficult to understand why.
What did this family do to anyone to have had this happened to them !

I had always believed in live and let live and forgive and forget.... but when someone wish to do everything they could to harm my country, my neighbors and my family; there is no rule in the game.
Must stop this from happening with proactive swift positive actions.
Anyone one think we should give any kind of right to these garbage are ignorant of what is going on.

You could not reason with a person whom is determined to destroy you and your way of life.

Absolutely! I don't believe for one second that they acted alone. Also, this 19 year old is on video setting the bomb down right at the feet of the 8 year old who died.
