It's that time of the year guys where we better think and get our wife something good for under the tree. If your like me and waiting for the last minute and going out and getting some dumb ass thing it could be another long year. Want lots of golf and other things?? get her something nice now. Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas.

Most years we don't get each other anything. The other day she came home with some stuff for me, Sh*t now I have to go find something for her and it better not suck.

If she is anything like most women they love it. When we go on vacation I get tee times at places that have spas so she can enjoy herself and I get to play golf. |

I just bought her (me) a Garmin approach S1 wristwatch today.
I think she really needs a pressure washer for Christmas. |

Funny, my wife called me about an hour ago to let me know I had just gotten her a nice $100 coat she found on sale for $37... Sometimes things just work out I guess. I am getting a couple of tickets to an exhibit she wants to see in the city, so it's not like I am totally unprepared!

I am 100% done my Christmas shopping for my wife (and everyone else). the best part is I traveled exactly 0.0 miles. Did all my shopping online and didn't pay a cent for shipping on anything. www.retailmenot.com is a great site for coupon codes and I used it on every purchase this year for free shipping and discounts.

I got her a spa day 12 years ago and it was never used. paid $100 for it and she never went. She said something about not useing it the other day. I will need some other gift. She buys things all year, why should I get her any thing??? Wait those cold nights when I want my 2 minutes. That is why. |

We all have our ways to purchase holiday gifts. I for one think it comes down to how long you are married. After 49 years theres not much we don't know about each other or our needs. So unless it a gift such as travel that we do together, we get it when we need it.
One thing that we do try to do is during the holiday season, is to get out together to enjoy the decorations and the holiday hussle and bussle. I learned years ago, gifts such as a washer and dryer or iron just do not cut it, in fact it may just cut you off. Happy Holidays!!! |

I got tired of listening to my wife moan and groan about a bedroom suite she saw over the summer. So I got it. Just can't tell her it was so I don't have to hear about it any longer.

I learned years ago, gifts such as a washer and dryer or iron just do not cut it, in fact it may just cut you off. Happy Holidays!!! Years ago I worked at a downtown Sears store. Those were the days when Sears had a credit department in most stores and I worked there. Each year at around 3 pm on Christmas Eve we could count on the drunks dragging themselves out of the downtown bars to buy the 'wifey' a Christmas present. What did they want to buy? Clothing, jewelry, perfume? No. MAJOR APPLIANCES. The only thing that saved them was most of these guys had the worst credit possible and no other way to buy the item. |
