So, the wife and I just got home from our trip to Medinah and The Ryder Cup. You had a chance to go! I offered you guys the extra tickets! But NO! You couldn't commit.
Anyway. The course is amazing and our boys are ready. We sat at #11 just after lunch. Rory drove one in to the greenside bunker, and Justin drove one almost as far. Just short of us standing at the green. The wife got to speak with Phil and Keegan gave her a nice Ryder Cup at Medinah pin. I was able to get Freddie to sign my hat, but then duties called and he was off to help our team. Medinah was in immaculate condition and the weather is gonna cooperate! I hope. On TV, you cannot get a true idea of the undulation and speed of the fairways and greens! And so, so pretty. #17 was packed, even on Tuesday and the course was overflowing with knowledgeable patrons. I'm hoping for an awesome week and remember....... GO USA! |

The course on TV looks great. Not a blade of grass out of place. Can't until it starts..GO USA!!!

Saw the whole final on sunday !! Davis Love lost the Ryder Cup and Paul Lawrie won it end of discussion !!!! I can't really fault DL 3 for trying the Fred Couples approach. The problem is Fred is terrific for the President's Cup which the USA really has no competition at this stage. If rumors are true David Toms will be the next captain. Another laid back person. |

USA..........15-1/2 Europe.....12-1/2 I had Europe 15-1/2 & USA 12-1/2 As I thought Garcia & McIlroy would do the deed. It was Poulter, Tiger & Stricker for the Europeans. lol |

Saw the whole final on sunday !! Davis Love lost the Ryder Cup and Paul Lawrie won it end of discussion !!!! Paul Lawrie had as much part in winning the Ryder Cup as the 49ers' water boy contributed to San Fran's victory over the Jets. |

Lawrie comes in early with the win to spark the euros-wish I was a water boy !!!! Yeah that must have been the turning point all right......... lol right........ FTR Donald was the first to record a European point anyways. |
