I'm curious to hear what football fans who aren't fans of either the pats or ravens thought about last nights game? Did the officiating make it difficult to watch? were you upset by it or simply didn't care because your team wasn't involved? overall thoughts on the game?

I don't watch the Pats unless they're playing my Dolphins. Though they are arguably probably the best team in the NFL. But I feel like, once a cheater, always a cheater.

It's not just that game. Last Monday night's game between Denver / Atlanta was terrible also. 10 minutes to figure out there wasn't 12 men on the field? My 8 y/o daughter can figure that out. I will say thank god for video replay though. Although they are using it alot more than previous years and it's slowing the game down atleast they are getting it right for the most part. I have seen alot more calls reversed than ever, but that is do to the help of instant replay. I look at it this way though. Atleast we are getting to watch football. Last time the players went on strike and I had to watch scabs play, I didn't even watch the NFL then. That was 100 times worst than the official crisis.

Last weeks Eagles/Ravens game had hits that the real officials would have called on both teams. I watched some highlights of the Pats/Ravens matchup and it appears as each week goes by, the officiating gets worse. The longer this negotiation goes the more likely a blown call is going to cost a game, cause an injury, or worse.

Yes, the Eagles / Ravens and the 9ers / Packers game was bad as well.

I thought it was a hell of a game even with the disgusting officiating. Hearing the Baltimore fans make the "largest manure chant" in Al Michael's words was hilarious, and the drama at the end was hard to beat unless you're the Lions and Titans. Fact is, I've come to accept the referees are going to be horrible, but the NFL is the NFL! Don't like it don't watch.

No Pats or Ravens fan. I would like to see the Players Assoc. to strike and see what AH Goodell will do.

in the first half, the pats looked like they were one inch form all-out gang warfare, and i got the feeling it was happening because the refs had ZERO control of the game.

Well last night it finally cost someone a football game. Congrats to the refs for letting it only take 3 weeks at that! Green Bay won that game. That was an interception.........and I'm not a Green Bay fan.

I'm retracting my statement after watching the Green Bay-Seattle game. Refs need to be figured out NOW. But if nothing else, this is fun to watch if you have a non-rooting interest in a game!

the reason I asked for non pats and ravens fans to respond is that I'm a pats fan so I know immediately I'll get accused of crying over spilled milk. I think last nights game is enough to make me not watch football this week. perhaps I"m saying that in the heat of the moment but it's really getting bad. The fact that the sunday ticket package from direct tv is free this year means I'm not even wasting any money by not watching any of these games. We will see. by the way,Roger Goodell can be reached at 212-450-2027. Feel free to share.

Would I lie??? lol Friend posted it on facebook and then said he got it from Clay Matthews Twitter feed but he didn't know if it was legit. I responded to my friend "why wouldn't it be? only one way to find out, I'm gonna call it!" I left him a nice message. That number is gonna make the rounds quick. that phone number will probably be changed by COB!

If you have gripes, call the sports media and let your message be heard. Calling someone's personal number just because you can is wrong. I'm sure you wouldn't want people you don't know calling you on your personal number.

That's a business number. The NFL is a business. I have a problem with HIS business. I'm a Q.C. at my business. If someone has a problem with our product guess who they call? That's right......ME! Not my personel number, my business number. ;)

If you think that calling a number is going to coerce him into making a decision to your liking, think again. He is going to make a business decision eventually. And if you don't like his decision, don't visit his business. He couldn't give a rats ass about what you think. Since when do we allow the inmates to run the assylum?
