Off topic but you guys are the best knowledge base.
I need a replacement for MS Front Page. I've got Dream Weaver (last version) but I don't need anything that enterprise ready. I just want something wysiwyg, drag & drop to develop and publish my web site. I haven't done jack to it since Microsoft discontinued Front Page. My hosting is through go daddy if that makes any difference. |

Web Expression is a good replacement for Front Page as it is a Microsoft program and should be similar in use. You might look at Webpage-maker.com or Webeasyprofessional.com

Now-a-days there are some great online services for building a website. I just went through that exercise for our church and we choose Clover (www.cloversites.com)
Now I'm not suggesting you use Clover as they really focus on church website design. But I think it would be worthwhile for you to demo their site building tools, so that you can see how far the technology has come. What is possible (and available) today is light-years ahead of FrontPage. |
