If you like to throw darts with you irons to have a ball stick, you have got to try this ball out. I have been using this for two weeks now, and I will not be switching to any other ball.

It has the perfect spin for someone who wants to attack the pin. It is a hit and stop ball. Sometimes, you can even get a little more than that if you really want to.

Here is why I decided to write about this ball:

- It's green side control is great, with top distance as well.
- The ball will check if you want it to, or if you don't want it to it won't.
- Flop shots don't roll out more than a foot if they do roll out.
- You can get some nice spin out of bunkers to have it stop (that is possible, just very hard to do).
- The workability of the ball is pretty darn good.

Overall, this ball is for the green side controlling, dart throwing, flop it and stick it type of player. If that is you, then you have found your golf ball.

What works for one person might not work for another. Tried a box when they came out and nexer wanted to buy another.

Stock up. TaylorMade doesn't make a ball for more than a year.

I swear it's perhaps the biggest reason why ProV1s are so popular, because they continue to exist each season. And I think it's why I'm seeing more players use B-330s ... because Bridgestone hasn't discontinued them or renamed them in a few years (only adding the -S, -RX, -RXS suffixes).

These have been out for almost three years and they are one of the cheapest they make. You can find them at any Wally World in the country. I would prolly go back to Noodles(Made by TM) before I would use them again.

You said when they originally came out. I hated them when they first came out, but its much better now. Give it a shot. What is 28 bucks?

I can get the NXT Tours for 25 bucks and the pentas for 38. They both work for me and I have dropped my hdcp from around 15 to 3.3 in the 5 months since I started playing only with these two models.

That's great! I have pretty much done the same thing and had alot of work with my boss on my swing. It is coming. I had been a 30 HDCP for a while, I am now a 15 and getting better. I can control everything. I just gotta stop hitting it OB hitting idiotic shots.

I spin the Penta's too much. I like the NXT Tour, great ball.

Did they make some kind of change to this ball? I used to love the TP Red and can't find then anywhere anymore because of the introduction of the Penta. I always spun the Black too much, sucking them off of the green. I'm playing Penta's now, but am not really impressed. My favorite is the B330. They rock!!

You played the original models. The TP Red and TP Black. I play the TP Black LDP (Low Drag Performance). B330 ball is good. I just prefer the TP Black LDP.

You are 100% right. As long as they have this ball, it is mine to play.

I switched grips too. Went from a baseball grip to a modified interlocking grip. Before I started playing just these two balls I switched about every two weeks. I tried just about every ball on the market and these are what work for me. I know exactly how far I will hit the ball and I know how much they will spin when the shot hits the green.

A guy with an average score of almost 90 telling me he throws darts, spins it when he wants, releases the ball when he wants, and works the trajectory???????????????????

You've never seen me play. You've never seen me swing. YES, I can. Anyone with a good swing can. When I screw up, its when I kept trying to over hit stuff on holes to get a shorter 2nd shot. I stopped doing that, and my scores are dropping to where they should be.
