Play Hillcrest if you want a well conditioned course with good greens at a reasonable price. It should be a 5 minute ride from the Diplomat hotel.
Von Hagge/Devlin course that is a gem. Same guy designed original Doral and Bay Hill. 18 is a par 4 into an island green that is a replica of Sawgrass. Go to GolfNow and you'll get a good summer Hot Deal for $35 |

Two of Browards best conditioned courses are Plantation Preserve, and Pembroke Lakes. Also Jacaranda is very nice, but a little more pricey.

Plantation Preserve is a gem also, but it is a far drive from Hollywood Beach. If you have a rental car, it's worth the 20 minute drive. Hillcrest is a cab ride, so it's practical if you don't have a car. It was the US Open qualifying course back in the day when I moved here. Great track! Jacaranda East hosted US Am and Pub Links qualifying in the past couple years. Also a great choice, but a bit west from Diplomat. |

Turnberry Sofer course is a made-for-TV track. Very nice (top 10 in the state). They film the ADT Skills challenge there. Very pricey if your not staying at the resort. Probably $125 for out of towners. They have real pink flamingos on the courses. If your looking for a splurge, play there. If your looking for a round between $35-45, play Hillcrest or Plantation Preserve.

You will have a memory of a lifetime at Turnberry Sofer course. They renovated the course 5 years ago and added $50Mil in landscaping. It is made-for-TV without a doubt. 18 is worth the price of admission... Par 5 with island green that has 3 tiers. Classic!

Dustin, you'll have to return the favor in Oct. Just found out I'm heading to New Orleans for our national conference. Have sticks, will travel! Will need a suggestion where to tee it up.
