Does anyone have a logical explanation as to why there is a faction on the LPGA tour wearing layered clothing plus pants in the middle of blistering summer weather? (Players include Se Ri Pak [pictured, bottom], Amy Yang, Eun-Hee Ji, and Na Yeon Choi [pictured, top].)

If its Under Armour they make for both cold and hot weather. Also protects against the sun. and makes a fashion statement.

Many of these women come from countries where they are expected to dress modestly. Our customs are not everyone's customs. Now I don't know that this accounts for everyone, but it certainly is the case for many of these players.

What women in Alaska wear in January would probably be deemed disrespectful in Asia. |

Sure, but I'll take the bare arms and flying skirts of Paula Creamer, Morgan Pressell, and other such fine female sports specimens. Oh, and does anyone know who that chick was on the Big Break Couples from Santiago Chile??? Camila Mori. Now those were some golf thighs, oh man.

those are UV sleeves the sole purpose is prevent burning.

Everyone you mentioned above is Asian decent. Very fair skinned people. I would imagine it has more to do with protection from the sun.
