I was and still am looking for a new Driver. like most I'm looking for 20 more yards? I played 27 holes with my Dad last weekend, Dad is a 6 handicap, The first 9 I used my Driver and on Avg I was 20 yards longer then Dad, the back 9 played with the RocketBallz I was avg only 5 yards longer then Dad with that club. after 18th hole I had new grip put on my Driver and we played 9 more holes so I used his R11 again I was no more then 5 yards longer. Think I will keep my Cobra for now. It was a great way to see just how good you hit a club.

Going to keep looking for that extra 20 yards.

Take your driver to one of those stores that have the launch monitor, like an Edwin Watts or Golf Galaxy. Loosen up, then start swinging your driver until you get up to game speed. Then start swinging different drivers and watch the numbers.
I doubt if you will find any club that will give you an extra 20 yards, but you may get 10 or so with a different club. Distance is all about clubhead speed and solid sweet spot hits.
I may have posted this before, but I swung 104-105mph with about 5 or more clubs including my own. Then I swung the Callaway Razr Hawk Tour. 110-112 and a little more. Consistently. It shows on the course too. It is a 2011 model, and the head is slightly smaller than the typical 460cc head. But being made from lighter composites, and with less drag than previous year's models, you can swing it faster, thus hit it longer. That is the claim Callaway makes and I found it to be true. If you go this route, keep in mind that the smaller head has a smaller sweet spot, so off center hits will not go as far. But when you get zero'd in you will be amazed at the results.
BTW, Cobra makes a driver called the "Long Tom". Its 48 inches long. They say its nasty long because of the clubhead speed the longer shaft generates. I believe that only occurs on someone with a slower swing speed. I demo'd that driver also, but couldn't get any more than high 90's to a little over 100 mph with it. go figure.

I bought the R11s this year and love it! I have measured a drive with a gps at 287. This was definitely longer than my previous driver but my other driver had more loft and a shorter shaft. I typically hit my old one and new one pretty straight.
