Hello Members; I am proud to say our "Club Sposored Events" for the 2012 season are set and ready to go.REMEMBER IT IS A USGA REQUIREMENT YOU PLAY IN AT LEAST ONE OF THESE EVENTS A SEASON TO REMAIN A MEMBER OF CT HACKERS GOLF CLUB AND MAINTAIN YOUR OFFICIAL HANDICAP. Though we would like all members to support thier club and play in as many of these events as possible. That is why now we set these up at the start of the season to make it easy for you all to plan ahead and attend these events. Ok; here they are;

First Event : Now named the "Edward Slubowski Memorial" Defending Champion - Don Hutson.
@ Blackledge GC - Anderson Glen Course - 180 West Street Hebron CT 06248 - 860-228-0250. Saturday May 19th - First Tee Time @ 12:00.
$75 a player if paid by May 9th deadline
$85 a player if paid between May 9th and May 16th FINAL DEADLINE
Cost includes - Greens Fees / Cart / Steak & Chicken Dinner Buffet and Prizes

Second Event : Now named the "Stracka Open" Defending Champion - John Olinyk

$75 a player if paid by May 28th Deadline.
$85 a player if paid between May 28th and June 6th FINAL DEADLINE

Third Event : The 2012 CT Hackers Club Championship - Defending Club Champion 2011 - Anthony Mascola

Witonbury Hills CC - 206 Terry Plains Road Bloomfield CT 06002 - 860-242-1401. Wednesday September 19th First Tee Time @ 11:00 am.
$100 a player if paid by September 5th Deadline
$110 a player if paid between September 5th and September 12th FINAL DEADLINE
Winner of this event is named CT Hackers Club Champion for 2012 and along with Championship Trophy your name is engraved on Plaque that is displayed at every CT Hacker event.
Cost Includes - Greens Fees / Cart / Dinner Buffet with - London Broil - Sauteed Chicken and Baked Scrod / And Prizes

Please try and attend as many events as possible and remember you MUST play in at least one of these. Don't forget we also have Two Tuesday Night Leagues this season; one in Middlefield and one in Fairfield; let us know ASAP if you are interested in those and also please don't forget the charitable event we are doing for Ed Slubowski's Family on July 12th at Tradition in Wallingford. This event is open to everyone and I urge you all to please support this and get a foursome for this cause.
