Who has played it since the remodel and how is it?

I have business people coming in and we will be playing Sunday. Need input if I need to move it to Tennyson and if so which Tennyson.....

I haven't played it myself but I have heard that they have done a good job. If you're looking for other alternatives, Cedar Crest is a nice track for not much money, as is CW Ditto in north Arlington. Tenison Highlands is the nicer track of the two Tenisons. Riverchase in Coppell is alright as well.

I've played it twice since the redo. I think it is great. Keep in mind they have no driving range and the pace can be slow on the weekend. On the other hand there are lots of elevation changes and some great views of the Dallas skyline. The back 9 is completely reconfigured and much improved.

I have played it and I can say it is a great improvement over the original layout. It still keep the character of the old Stevens Park, but it adds to the challenge and eliminate some of the "tricked up" nuances the I never liked.

I have several people that will be staying downtown. They have a meeting in the afternoon and need to play a course very close. Otherwise, I can think of about 20 other courses within 30 minutes on a Sunday. Thanks guys....

With that being the case, I would play Cedar Crest.

Don't forget that Tenison Park isn't far from downtown and there is 2 courses there ..... But Stevens is great and was renovated very well ...

I was looking at both. I am booked at Stevens Sunday. I plan on playing the other suggestions later this year.

The latest GolfWeek had a very favorable article about it. The photos looked very nice indeed.
