How are slope and course ratings confirmed?

My home course (http://www.ushandicap.com/golf..) has multiple listings for slope and rating, some confirmed and some unconfirmed.

The USGA Course Rating and Slope Database (http://63.240.106.223/natcrsra..) has no listing for Springfeild, Fort Mill, SC for the men's tees.

Springfield's score card, and their website (http://www.playspringfield.com..) differ for the championship tees. Also, golfnetonline.net, (http://www.golfnetonline.net/c..) the site the course uses for handicapping is the same as the scorecard. Straka.com's slope and rating are different as well.

Which is the official slope and rating?

Confirmed slopes and ratings are confirmed when a golfer posts a score under this tee. We assume the tees are correct if golfers are posting scores under these tees.

I would check with the course itself to 100% confirm the tees.

Brando,

I'm confused. For my home course, Springfield in Fort Mill, SC, the correct slope and rating is not listed when I try to post a score. I have to edit and correct after saving. I have added the tees via the "tees not listed". The correct slope/rating is listed (multiple times) under Stracka's page for Springfield's scorecard, but it not an option when posting a score.

Thanks,

Jeff

If the tees and slope are incorrect. When posting a score, select "Tees Not Listed". There, you will be prompted to enter the tees, slope and rating. Then, next time those tees will be listed as option.

It is impossible for us to manage tees and know which tees are correct.

Hope this helps.

I have entered the correct info for the Regular tees, 70.5/132. I have entered this info a couple of times, as have others I think because there are multiple listings for these tees under Springfield Score Card on stracka.com.

However, the correct tees for Regular is not available as a choice when posting a score for a round at Springfield.

Thanks for pointing this out. This is fixed now.

Thanks to both of you guys for keeping at this, as I was having the same problem trying to add yet another set of rating/slope tees for a course that changed its yardage and R/S, but couldn't update it on Stracka. Now I can try it again! thanks guys
