As far as Fairways hit and greens in regulation I understand the premise as far as hitting the fairway or green, but what is regulation? Trying to keep a better score espescially with having the access to scores and stats on here so I want to keep track but not sure what I have to keep track of...

Green in regulation comes into play on par 5's and par 4's. On a par 4 green in reg would be on in 2 or better and a par 5 would be on in 3 or better.

If you are on a par 3 and you hit onto the "fringe" that does not count as a green in regulation right?

Oh thats a good one, because I definitely would've counted that one...
