I use Cobra woods & irons because they're what I've always used. I picked Cobra because I liked the feel of them. I think using a particular brand because a certain player uses it is quite foolish. I'm sure advertisers would hate the last sentence but c'est la vie. I also use top flite golf balls for the only one reason, they are cheap. I would rather spend my money on more golf then the ball I play. Now, before a big dispute gets started. I am NOT disparaging anyone who uses prov1's. If that's what you play, more power to ya.

I bought my first set of clubs last year and they were Nike for 2 reasons 1. i gravitated towards nike clubs because if they were good enough for Tiger they're good enough for me. but more importantly when i took up golf i wasn't sure if i would stick with it so cost was important. i read a ton about clubs and figured i'd serve myself well with game improvement cavity backs.the nike slingshot 4d's i bought for about $200 on Ebay hit the sweet spot of good reviews and lower cost. i didn't want to drop $500 and find out i didn't like golf. Taylormade, Ping and Callaway were just too much at the time. However now that the golf bug has got me cost doesn't mean a thing only how i feel about the club does. I am still playing with the Slingshot 4D's but i think next year i'm gonna look at getting something a little more on the forged side.

I am all TaylorMade (including most of my shirts and hats) but not so much because of the players but more because Joe was on staff with them for a while and he got me hooked. They have a great product too so although hes no longer on staff with them I still buy them.

I'm all Titleist because their irons and Mizuno's felt the best. I don't like a single Mizuno Wood or putter and I've always liked the Titleist woods the best, and Scotty Cameron putters also so I just use it all.
