anyone out there try the new taylormade penta. if so how does it compare to what golf ball you currently playing with

Not yet, having trouble spending the $45.00 per dozen on them.. But, I am currently playing the TP Black--Maybe for Fathers Day my wife will get me some Penta's~

Haven't tried them. I've been playing the Pro V1 since they came out. Yesterday, on a whim at Dick's, I bought a dozen Bridgestone B330 balls. Haven't hit them yet.

Penta is by far the best baal out there. I switched and will never go back. Suck it Pro V1x

I just started playing the Penta, have been playing the Taylor Made TP blacks...the Penta could be the best ball out there, much softer than the TP and I think the TP blacks are as good as the ProV1's...I'm not sure the added $$ is worth it at my level but they are worth trying... I'm in the same boat with the pricing thing. But last night I purchased 6 dozen on eBay for 215.00 with free shipping. Thats about 35.00 per dozen which is a little easier to swallow. Check out eBay when you have some free time. There's one seller on there that is selling them in quantities of 9 dozen at a time. The other night it closed for 325.00. You can find anything you want and usually cheaper on eBay. |

You can find anything you want and usually cheaper on eBay. Just be careful with purchasing clubs. There's been a lot of Chinese knock-offs selling on eBay. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. |

Yes, I play penta now, used to play TaylorMade TP Red. I got 2 dozon as a gift and I like them. Still have 10 dozon of the TP Red, gonna use the penta first...The penta ball works real good. Long drive, soft around the green, good back spin, damn good ball all around...
