Tax on Greens Fees

What are your opinions on what "The Govenator" has proposed. He wants to tax your greens fees if you play any course in California, I think he is nuts, but what do you think?

Think again, we have the state sales tax on green fee here in Washington, + City and/or county tax, + luxury tax.
It added up to be close to 17% of the tax you'll pay over and above the stated green fee.
They collect more taxes and spend even more, so they'll have to up the tax rate again to CYA.
