Today I had the pleasure of playing 2 rounds with Mr. Daniel Garcia. I didn't really know what to expect, but I like to live on the edge. Well first of all he is shorter than I had figured! LOL!! Then he shows up with a green Kango hat and a refferee striped shirt! Which in a way was very cool! He was kind, polite, and very friendly. We hit it off from the start. Oh and did I mention he can kill it off the tee with his calloway ft9 driver!
He is nothing like I would have expected from reading his comments, and forum topics, ect....... He was a genuine nice guy. I am very glad that I played with him today and I believe that we will end up playing together often. And no every other word out of his mouth was not TIGER,TIGER,TIGER. He might of mentioned Tiger once when we were talking about the Ryder Cup and thats all. In my opinion, everyone should lay off the Daniel hatred and show a little love for an exceptional guy. |

Where did you play? What did you guys shoot? We're golfers! That's the important stuff. If Daniel couldn't break out of a paper bag that's what we want to know. If he broke par (I'm sure he didn't, he would have posted that already), tell us about the golf.

Honestly, I'm not surprised, howasam. I've always pegged him as one that'd be polite and easy to play with, despite some of his postings tendencies. I will agree with you that I expected him to be a little taller, but maybe then that explains some of the posting tendencies as a Napoleanic complex. <j/k> I'm glad you both had a great time! :-) Best of all, as more golfers from the site get the opportunity to play a round with another Stracka user, this will become more of a "community" instead of just a "site". Makes sense, I hope? :-) Shaun Completely agree with this. I always did have the sense DG is a nice guy, and I was not suprised at all to hear you had a great time. And like Shaun also said, it is always great when Stracka members meet up and get to play golf with one another. I haven't gotten the chance yet, although I've expressed to a few users I'd love to play with them if we were ever in the same area. Glad you two had fun out there and hopefully for your sake you get to do it again. |

You would not have wore the green Kongo hat if you know what that means in Asia. LOL Nice to see your recent photo guys. And a foot note to Daniel, lose some of the middle weight, it's not good for you if you want to play golf into your 70's. |

glad you guys had a good time. i knew he wasn't 6'5 300lbs. like he said he was once. so far the people i've played with from Stracka have been great, except for that jdubs character.

A little known fact about DG, he was sedated the day he played, tons of Prozac, and Patron Tequila. LOL!!! I have had the pleasure of speaking with DG on a weekly basis, Howasam is correct he is a genuinely nice person. He loves to have fun and takes it all in stride, all kidding aside from the jabs from his son Cogolfer to his crossdressing jabs I get on him for and his PINK BAlls, Daniel is about as nice of a gentleman as you can find. Hey DG, did you outdrive Howasam with your PINK BALL??? Finally it was great to see that someone has wriiten something real nice about DG. Great job Howasam, very classy on your part. He wore A ref's shirt I thought he would dress up in a Lady GAGA outfit!!!
