Why does Golf Channel keep this complete Tour failure on as a comentator critiquing the best players in golf? My fill in ####ing idiot! |

Brandel Chamblee is an awful analyst. I don't even dislike him the most of Golf Channel's analysts. My Top 5 of most disliked Golf Channel analysts:
5) Lara Baldesarra 4) Brandel Chamblee 3) Terry Gannon 2) Kelly Tilghman #1, and this isn't even close) Charlie Rymer |

I don't watch much Golf Channel, but every time I do, it amazes me the quality of their stuff. It's below JV. Just awful. Even their golf graphics suck ... they show the leaderboard about once every two hours.
When people complain about Johnny, I have to laugh. Johnny Miller's awfully abrupt and certainly opinionated, but he's a 10 to the Golf Channel's 1. Why can't the Golf Channel assemble some talent? What the hell are Zinger and Curtis Strange doing all year? |

i actually like the guy. he has come a long way and is one of their better announcers/hosts.
i met him, as well, and he's a genuine guy who has a passion for the game. don't know why everyone is hating on the guy. |

A$$! It doesn't matter who's commentating or who they're talking about - he always has something negative to say about the person they are talking about. And a name like Brandel Chamblee sounds like a pompous, rich, snobby a$$ or a cheap wine.
Charile Rymer seems like a nice guy, but he gets on my nerves quick too. I think it's the way both corners of his mouth move up and down when he talks. |

don't know why everyone is hating on the guy. Agreed. This is a bit of a shocker. I always found his personality quite pleasant. As for the accuracy of his comments....all golf "analysts" are full of garbage and irrelevant. Who cares what any of them say? He's not better or worse than anyone else. If we're strictly talking about on-air demeanor, I just don't understand all the negativity I'm reading in these posts. |

Let the hating stop. If he is not YOUR cup of tea...so be it. Heck, this is sounding as bad as MSNBC on Republicans or Fox on Democrats...let it rest.
As for the negative remarks that commentators make...it is just like life...you are only remembering the bad comments. Last time I looked at almost any new story...it was the negative, gory, bloody crap that drew people's interest. We simply seldom care about the good stuff anymore. Just my thoughts. |
