That's Labor Day weekend right? I've never played this one, it's about 60 miles from my place. I could possibly do Tuesday. I like playing early too, but with drive time it would have to be after 8am or so. Do you walk or ride? They have a pretty decent walking rate and the layout looks to be tight.

Correct, that's labor day weekend. I'm pretty flexible as to the time and day.

I usually ride but I have no problem with walking.

I take it you have played here before. I did a quick overview to get familiar with the layout. With my handicap I usually play from the White, but distance doesn't look to be the major problem here. I think I can hang from the Blue tees. Some of the dog legs look like real teasers, a few of the greens almost look like two separate greens joined together.

I've played Pebble 3 times. the last time was in '02. I love this course. Much better than Hominy Hills, just down the street. Hominy is vastly overrated if you ask me. I'll lay out the whole course for you.

#1 slightly downhill but you can't see the landing area, short, birdie opportunity.

#2 plays slightly downhill and a little to the right. take a par.

#3 slightly uphill, not much to worry about

#4 you HAVE to get by the dogleg with your drive

#5 straight par 3 not much trouble. more wooded when I play played. Looks more open by the green.

#6&7 short par 4's woods all around. If I'm feeling good with my driver I'll give it a go. Otherwise it's my 5 wood.

#8 uphill, three shot par 5 for everybody

#9 another birdie opportunity. dead straight slightly downhill.(hopefully the sprinklers won't be on)

#10 slight dog right not much to worry about

#11 long par 3. this hole doesn't fit my eye. I seem to push it right here

#12&13 drivable par 4's. I love these holes. Drove the green on 12 last time I played here. 13 a bit trickier as you can only see part of the green from the tee. due to the overgrowth by the creek.

#14 Long par 5. what you can't see from the photo is that pond has a berm around it so your second shot will be blind. So watch out how much you want to bite off on your second..

#15 water can be intimidating but it shouldn't come into play. I ended up by those bunkers.

#16 When I played here there were trees lining the tee box. going for the green wasn't an option.

#17 par 5 that plays long. I don't recall why, perhaps it plays into the wind.

#18 another par 3, narrow green depending on the pin placement.

Overall I really like this course. the front is more wooded and the back is open. Fun course though.

Or if you have an extra billion laying around we can go down the street to Due Process Stable. I'm a little short right now so you would have to cover.

Good information, thanks Rob! I'm going to have to pass on Due Process, my private jet is in the shop again. Darn "Finster Coils" are a million a pop...

Rob look the course up on here and it will show you the 114 people on here that have that course on thier list of courses. Email them and maybe you can get someone to play with you that way.

Not a bad idea, if you do a club search based on the courses zip code you will also find 67 clubs in the 50 mile area. Most are single member clubs, not much help, but there are a couple that might be worth dropping a post on. The Philadelphia, Princton, and Lakewood clubs and maybe a couple of the smaller private clubs.

Good Idea Duckhunter, I new here and didn't think of that. I just threw it out there. I have no problem whatsoever playing with strangers or walking on to a course as a single.
