In a previous post I had spoken about a golf trip next March to Myrtle Beach. We are going to hit Tobacco Road on the way home, we're driving down from New York City. While in Myrtle we will be playing pretty much two courses a day if we can. So far we have made tee times at a couple of courses, but was looking for some recommendations on others.

Myrtle Beach National (Kings North)
Wachesaw East
Litchfield Country Club
Blackmoor
Willbrook Plantation
Legends (Moorland)
Legends (Parkland)

This will be my first time down there, but I know the resort we are staying at is walking distance from Arrowhead so I know we will be playing there once.

Any suggestions?

We are going for a 8 days, with 2 being travel, so we will be playing up to 12 rounds I would say. So far we have 8 courses, help us with the other 4!

For one, I'd suggest replays at courses rather than paying full rate at each course. You'll save a few hundred dollars than way.

Besides Glen Dornoch and Pawley's Plantation that I suggested before, I'd say Arrowhead, they have 3-9's and the course is always in top condition. Barefoot Resorts has 4 18 hole courses on property. I played the Love course and enjoyed it a lot (even though it punched me in the face several times).

It sounds like your going to be in Central and South Myrtle Beach. All the courses on your list are very good. King's Course is a real treat. A cool course on the south side is World Tour Golf Links. All the holes are inspired/replicas of famous holes around the world.

Just something a little different.

If you get up north try Ocean Planitation -- Big Cats course.
