I love the Accenture Match Play Tourney. Some Players are on the "bubble". They need to be inside the top 64. They better get it in gear to play February the 20th, well thats when the brackets are set. For some reason I don't think we will see the same two players as last year in the finals.
My sleeper as of today: Paul Lawrie Current OWGR (official world golf ranking) 58 Robert Rock Omega Dubai 59 Jim Furyk AT&T Pebble 60 Matteo Manassero Omega Dubai 61 Greg Chalmers Not Playing 62 Ernie Els Not Playing 63 Kevin Na AT&T Pebble 64 Robert Allenby Not Playing 65 Ryan Moore AT&T Pebble 66 Charles Howell III Not Playing 67 Joost Luiten Omega Dubai 68 Rory Sabbatini AT&T Pebble 69 Nicolas Colsaerts Omega Dubai 70 Toru Taniguchi Not Playing 71 Alexander Noren Omega Dubai 72 Spencer Levin AT&T Pebble 73 Johnson Wagner Not Playing 74 Sean O'Hair AT&T Pebble 75 Vijay Singh AT&T Pebble |

I'm pulling for Toru Taniguchi, because he sounds a lot like former wrestling champion Taru Tanaka.
If he's 1 down to his opponent on the 18th, he may put him in a sleeper hold and get him to tap out for a concession. |

Greg "The Hammer" Valintine comes screaming in on a Club Car, throws Strongow over the hip and right into a figure four! Good night Chief..... |

Should be noted that the Top 66 will get in since Phil and Paul Casey will not be playing. Casey is injured, Phil's kids don't have school that week apparently and wants to be around them at home. Can't wait for that Wednesday. 1 of my favorite golf days of the year.

Frankly, I think the battle royale sounds more interesting than the golf. And I *love* the match play. :)
(and if some moron asks for predictions for this thing, the most unpredictable event in the sport, I'm flying from the buckle a la Jimmy Super Fly Snuka) |

You really think The Undertaker could stand up to my main man, Bobo Brazil and his devastating Coco Butt? |
