So Sergio announced that he is taking a couple months off after the PGA.
WTF?!?!? The dude is MADE for Ryder's Cup matches. Can't believe he would skip that event. |

It's doubtful he would make the team anyway. Not even close to qualifying on his own, and he's playing so bad that Monty can't pick him for the team's sake.

If I were Monty, I would take 53-year old Bernhard Langer before I'd select Sergio to be on the Team. The European Team is loaded & I think Sergio is taking his name out of the running to save face.
