I'm kind of sick of it too, Mr. Dewsweeper. The good news is that it doesn't hurt our point total anymore like it did before the site renovation. So while it really doesn't have a huge effect on things now I would just like to see something on the photos that lists what user voted down on the photo.

If someone has such hatred for golf photos, this person should not belong here.
Moderators should cancel the membership and bar from getting on the site.

I usually only vote if I like something, or those 13th green ugly clothes pics.

You can only read this and look at these pictures at the prescribed time.

And I just love the idea about showing how people vote.
Let's show who voted it down so we can all gang up on someone for having a different opinion than us. Maybe post their phone # and address too.

I can see this highschool clique mentality from Cogolfer, he's that age. But you grown adults should be ashamed of yourselves.

Do we have to like everything people post?
Maybe they don't like the brand if it's golf equipment.
Or someone posts their entire vacation. They played 9 courses and post a pic for each hole they played.
Maybe you pissed them off and they want to get back at you because they are afraid of direct confrontation.
Maybe they're bored and just F'ing with you, it appears to be working.

We don't know why they vote down and we don't really need to know.
I don't care for the down votes of peoples kids or families.

But I swear that this is still America and we do have certain rights that allow this.

Look at the latest Golf Digest with the veterans missing limbs and having to start over.

They did that for all of us, no matter who we are or what we think. Don't care if you believe in this war, it's all a part of being free to say or do what you want without someone condemming you for your opinion.

Please do away with the voting on pics and maybe blogs.

Instead, award the points we get for voting, for just opening the item and looking at it.
Points for posting comments would stay the same.

I closed the pictures menu on my page. I'd do the same for the articles and blogs, but the old, bumped posts would still show up in my notifications. A few people make it a quest to gain points and it makes it hard for others to read new, fresh posts.

This is part of the reason I don't myspace, facebook, twitter, etc. Who needs to be friends with everyone on the site? Who cares about the wall of 'geeks' (I mean legends). I used to hang around the site for swing tips, golf info, the occasional funny, etc. I guess I'll stick to posting scores and managing my club.

I,Agree with you.i stop all comments on all the old blogs & forums,too many wanted me too stop.so now I'm working on pictures,too get my points.and your Absolutely right about some people.,they think they run this site.I'm on here 40 hrs a week,on golfq.i think these people,just want you glue to their pictures,their post,their,blogs,these people have a small pee brain.and i really don't care what people vote,it's thier vote.i vote the way i want to vote,and read what i want to read.and you know what,guys,I'M BACK TO READING AND MAKING COMMENTS ON ALL THE OLD POST & BLOGS,THANK YOU,dysangle,for OPENING MY EYES! I'm not the one against others to have their opinion, but there is this member vote nothing but "dislike" for everyone's photo.
If this member has nothing to like and cast negative votes for everyone else, why bother?

Although I have not voted down a picture or a video or anything since I realized that negative votes affect the person who posted them, I am going to say one thing here, DANIEL if I see another picture on your postings of Barrack Obama, I am going to quit my job and dedicate myself for a year to vote down everyting you post in here, sheez dude c,mon leave the prez pictures alone already.
