I'm on vacation this week so I'll get to watch the whole thing. Who do you like for this event? Who will make the cut?

I like Ernie, too, but I'm wondering how McIlROY will handle his first stroke play event in the US. Will Sergio show up?
I'm looking forward to it.

No doubt, I like his chances to repeat. He seemed like he was just getting it going at Accenture.

Figure I would throw this out there and make ya think a little bit. Without Tiger in the field, who is going to make the crowd a little nosier, rowdier, and pull the crowd and media in on the weekend? Who is making his first open-event appearence in the continental United States? Who is shooting consistant and will probably make a chunk of $ this weekend? I think for the next 3 events, this guy is going to strut his stuff, or ride his poney on down the fairways...Yep, WHO---BOO....Homestate crowd...My $ is on him.

I think Allenby or Wilson might be in the hunt. Boo's putter is real cold right now.

Sorry guys. But I have to tell you (and I know that this isn't popular) that I think that Boo Weekly is one of the most over-rated golfer's out there.

I just think he's a flash in the pan and his short game is getting worse, not better. He might be the worst putter on tour. AND the guy is as dumb as a box of diapers.

I know I will get skewered for that because for some bizarre reason, guys seem to like him--it's probably the whole "We gosh, I'm just a good 'ol boy tryin to learn this game while I go along" shtick that he's got--Who knows....

So let me have it! I can take it!---LOL

I still say this is Ernie's tourney to lose...maybe Sergio (if he plays)
Well you asked for it!!LOL His so called Shtick is actually who Boo is. He maybe dumb and a redneck but knowing him personally and how hard he has worked to get where he is and now being his third full year on the Tour with two wins compared to some of the so called up and comers who have no wins to their credit. Played his way on the Ryder Cup team, nobody gave him a spot, he earned it!! Maybe his short game and putting is getting bad, I dont think so, but that same short game and putting has earned him close to 4 million dollars the last 2 1/2 years. Not bad for somebody who cant putt or chip?? My perception is that the media has taken a big liking to him because of his background and what he has accomplished on tour so far. It is the same in every sport, it you produce then the media is going to put that person in the publics eye ALOT!!

I'll say one thing for, Boo, that commercial he does with Vijay
is piss your pants funny. Did anyone see this? They're hitting balls back and forth at each others homes. A classic.

I was gonna leave it alone but....
If Boo Weekly was "dumb as a box of diapers" I doubt seriously he could compete and WIN on the PGA tour as effectively as he has.
Don't mistake a southern, redneck accent for intelligence level.
Don't discredit a guys successes to date because he wears camoflauge shirts and hats.
I can think of lots of non-Americans I have met/seen who really didnt give me a great first impression of them, their country or their countrymen so I dont think you need to always be apologizing while you are abroad.

I guess we can all agree that Boo has skills or he wouldn't be on the tour. After that it's a simple matter of perception.

Of course I was referring to the intelligence of the box itself...not the concept of diapers in a box!--hahahaha--but otherwise---what if we could combine DIAPERS and clumable cat litter? Now we're talking efficiency!

Humm...you may be onto something here!

Hmmm, I wonder if my cats would wear the diapers? I could get them all birth certificates,.............and claim them as dependents on my tax return. GENIOUS! See, this is why we were able to put a man on the moon.
