I feel for him. I have athritis in my right shoulder and there isn't really anything they can do for it. I can take shots but then you are dependent on them for life basically. I am also anemic and when my iron gets really low I have a lot of pain in my joints and hands. My last several rounds my hands have been hurting so badly as soon as I start but you just gut it out. Aleve is my friend.

I am glad that he has found a treatment plan and really hope it doesn't affect his long term game.

During my last knee operation last year they found I had arthritis in my knee, I hope he can play well with this and get treatment asap.

It's nice to be young and not having to deal with this stuff right now.

the first one was when I was 16, then last January I had 2 more on the right knee this time. The first of those was to repair the menicus and tighten up some ligaments, the 2nd one was to remove some debris they left behind, that happened two weeks later. What they did the first time was scrape the back of the knne cap to remove the arthritis build up, it seems that they did not get all of itand had some particles floating around the knee area.

something that effects your joints and tendons can be brutal for someone that walks a golf course for four rounds. hopefully he finds the right treatment and it doesn't effect him too much. i'm being treated for gout and am only 36 and i take medicine for it every day. when i have an attack, i can't even walk, let alone do normal, everyday things and the attack can last for a few days.

I have heel spurs on both heels, also. Walking on those bad boys is very painful, I bought some extra padding and support to aveleviate the situation, it has helped but boy there are days that nothing helps. Greenjacket I know how you feel.
