Besides Golfing what other activities do you do to stay it shape or do as a hobby..?

I also Love to fish, mostly Saltwater. The Big 3 down here is Specks / Reds and Flounder. It is all to fun to throw a topwater bait out and watch the explosion and if it's a Slot size Red / Sow Trout, hang on Buddy it's gonna be a fight !

I also love to garden and just fixing up our backyard.

I once was the owner of " WD's Fillet Tables " I came up with a Great cleaning table for cleaning fish or small animals. People down here went nutts over them. Plan on resuming my product in a few years, it just became overwhelming and couldn't keep up the orders.

Anyways, Besides Golf ?

I really don't do much else with my life other than golf, hang out with friends/family, do things regarding school, socialize here on Stracka, and then the much needed me/relax time. Golf's the only sport I do competitively and it's been like that the 3 1/2 years now I've played. I love getting together with some friends to play some park football, baseball, soccer, basketball etc., but golf's the only sport I play seriously. I've done other sports competitively though from soccer from 2000-2007, baseball in the early 2000's, hockey in 2006, and tennis from 2004-2005.

Besides golf I love doing pretty much anything out doors. I especially love long range shooting and have shot competitions since I was 14. My two biggest accomplishments in shooting are taking 3rd place in the state 3 position air rifle match when I was18 and graduating from Army Sniper School in 2005. I also enjoy just about any kind of hunting that can be done with archery equipment.

Good topic Walter.

To stay in shape I'm in an advanced prescriptive exercise program. Besides looking good and feeling great I've amazed my doctor who can't get over the improvement in my blood test results. I plan to live to be a hundred!

I play slow pitch softball competitively spring and summer and volleyball in the fall. I'm good but not exceptional in volleyball, but one of the top pitchers in the region in slow pitch softball. Most of you are probably thinking: top pitcher in lob ball? Really??? Turns out there is a lot you can do. I averaged 5.5 strikeouts per game last year...and they are seven inning games. I walked 2 players the entire season.

But as you all know, the sport I love the most is golf!

This may seem odd, but generally speaking I am not an outdoors person. That has more to do with where I live right now. In Iowa you pretty much get two extremes...summer 100+ days with 80% humidity and winter where the windchill can reach -20F.

The one activity I enjoy outdoors for prolonged periods of time is golf...it is my haven.

In the Spring, Summer and Fall I stay in shape by golfing. In the Winter months I workout in my basement kick boxing. I just started again a week and a half ago and have already dropped 5 pounds.

If the question is what do I do for fun other than golf...I play with my kids, watch them compete in sports and add to my golf collection.

As a former sniper, you should order Chris Kyle's new book, "American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in US Military History".

Kyle is a former SEAL Team 3 sniper. He did four tours in Iraq and has 160 confirmed kills, 2 Silver Stars, 4 Bronze Stars, among many others. I saw him on The O'Reilly Factor last night. Really impressive guy. I ordered the book on Amazon after watching last night. It's being released on Janury 8th.

A nephew of mine is a USMC sniper who did two tours in Iraq. They're a special breed. And thanks for your service.

You guys might like the latest book I just finished; SEAL Target Geronimo: The Inside Story of the Mission to Kill Osama Bin Laden. It tells about what it takes to be a member of Seal Team Six as well as how they found and took out Bin Laden. What it takes is impressive and quickly weeds out those that you might not believe could be weeded out.

And I also thank you for your service to our country.

I play more chess. Moving pieces helps the tendons/ligaments in my elbows and fingers stay limber. Also, working with this coach...

...helps me stay mentally sharp.

Finished that one a few weeks ago. It was a good book, but only about 20-25% of the book was about the actual bin Laden kill mission. That surprised me a little.

My favorite is One Shot, One Kill. I can't remember the authors name off the top of my head.

I like to get on various internet sites and toot my own horn about what a stud I am. When in reality I am I work down at the pizza pit, and I drive an old Hyundai, I still live with my mom and dad, I'm 5'3 and overweight.

I'm a Sci-Fi fanatic, Mild asthmatic, Never been to 2nd base, But there's a whole nother me, That you need to see, Go check out MySpace. 'cause online I'm out in Hollywood, I'm 6'5 and I look damn good, I drive a Maserati
I'm a black belt in Karate, And I love a good glass of wine.

It turns girls on that I'm mysterious, I tell 'em I don't want nothing serious
'cause even on a slow day I can have a three way chat with two women at one time. Online I live in Malibu, I posed for Calvin Kline, I've been in GQ
I'm single and I'm rich, and I got a set of six pack abs that'll blow your mind. I grow another foot and I lose a bunch of weight everytime I log in.
