When out playing golf, do you tend to get upset with your buddies that may drink too much especially when you have a good round going and all they care to do is joke around and have a laugh? I have a couple guys that this has happened with and I have avoided playing golf with them any further making excuses that I'm busy or whatever--Some guys just take it too far like the following clip: Drunk buddies taking it a little too far--funny though~~

I got coupled up with a couple of golfers last month that were new to the game. They were so buzzed by the 4th whole that they gave up for the day and left. They lived off the course so they pretty much just walked to their house. I have my fair share of drinks during a tournament, but I keep it light. I don't want to play any worse than I already do.

I had this happen just a few months ago. A guy I've been playing golf with off and on for several years has just started drinking alot. He was hammered on the course and the other three had to constantly remind him when it was his turn and to keep up. He was distracted by everything and it got really annoying. Sad thing is I not close enough to say something. I haven't played golf with him since.

NO. My friends and I don't play with anyone who can't handle. No one wants to play golf or hang with people that can't handle...Tell your friends to wise up.

I don't mind drinking during a round. I personally now have this thing for Cheladas. But, if your drinking affects your play, your etiquette, or your cool points, you just won't be golfing with me any more. Some of my older buddies may certainly say that's a hypocritcal statement coming form me, but, that's life. Shooting good scores and becoming intoxicated generally do not go hand in hand. I gonna have my single digit checked off my bucket list and likely have more fun in the process. Lord knows, I'll remember more about it huh? hehe

Me too. I hope to get into single digits before the year is out. I feel like I am oh so close. I dont mind other people drinking, but I sure hate drunks on the course whooping it up and acting stupid. If you need a few beers to loosen up, fine, more than that I'd rather play with someone else.

I drink when golfing, but I do it quietly and dont let it disrupt anything.

I have one buddy who goes a little too far after a few drinks, at that point the money rises per hole.

Sooooo Pete, is that an attempt at behavior modification through a conditioned response, or are you simply milking this guy? hehehehe I've always had a saying, "you gotta pay the cost to be the boss." It seems this is quite literal in your golfing circle.

Think you could schedule a car payment out of this? I may have give this a shot, sounds lucrative.
