According to Golf Digest:
"Golf's latest version of this sense of the onrushing apocalypse is Alvaro Quiros, the new driving distance king of the PGA Tour, who topped the field driving distance average by 37 yards last week at the Transitions Championship, and is averaging about six more yards off the tee than anybody playing golf on the planet right now (312.3 on the PGA Tour, 314.2 on the European Tour, and about 398 when he really lets out the shaft). An example: He drove it 30 yards over the green on the second hole at Doral's Blue Monster course. The hole measures 376 yards." Does anyone have a link to a video of his swing, I can't seem to find one. |

Dude is a stud. During his warmup at the driving range at one of the courses, it's rumored he flew the entire driving range.

If he can keep it straight he is going to kill. I see he is playing the Masters. It looks to me in the swing vid that his clubs are a smidge to short because he dips down at the top. Whatever he can bomb the ball.

Look at his score at the Shell Houston Open.....He must have hit real Far there.. He must be driving them over the greens out of bounds... I decided to stick him in my fantasy line-up at the last second...another one of my great picks! |

Yea, I been watching him for a little while now - He hits it a country mile, but his control stats are horrible. He must push, pull, bomb and gouge his way around. He has won recently on the Euro Tour. Dig the sideburns!
