Can you pull the muscle tissue between your ribs? It feels like a "side stich" that just won't go away. I performed my famous lower half lock up while the upper half kept on going. I think I might have pulled my right rack of ribs further apart than what God meant them to. Heck, I'll just smear some sauce on it. Hot sauce fixes everything!

I think my wife did that. Her back has been hurting mid-way up left side, since we played last week.

Yes you can...and yes I have done it. I have pulled a muscle in my ribs playing golf and it killed! At one point I could not make a swing for 3 weeks.

I had to take the time off and ease back in. The real question is...why can't these things happen during winter?

probably separated a little rib cartilage. I did that a few years ago. Rest, hot sauce and beer should fix you right up.

My man! BTW my Dad used to stop at the Mickie D's in Warrenton on our way to the pan handle of W VA. I still go through there once in awhile.

Yeah, the body building I did while I was in the Army wasn't really the best thing for my golf game. But I've watched that long drive dude that hits off the top of the ice cream truck in the commercial too. He's pretty big. Actually I'm looking at the fact that I turned 50, although I workout it's not as frequently or as intense as the 6 days a week I did as a First Seargeant. I think at this point in my life I'll drop about 30 pounds, lift lighter and go after greater tone than bulk, and up the cardio. Tiger has a pretty good build in my book and golf has taken a much greater place of prominence in my sports/health life. I really want to achieve a single digit handicap in my lifetime.

Yeah, I'm 100% now. It didn't get fixed until the end of Janurary though when the weather finally started acting like winter. I didn't play for 3 or 4 weeks and it healed up. But when did I post this??? September!!! While I was playing I tried very hard to make a smooth complete follow through. The injury happened when I was swinging for a Meat Whacker drive and locked up my lower body while my upper body kept going. That's a lot of torque pulling your ribs apart man.
