We will not forget the tragedy; we shouldn't ever forget the loss suffered by so many Americans. I am so proud of my brothers that stayed the course, kept the focus, and remained keen until the mission was completed. To be associated with these warriors, regarless of how removed, is an honor.

I'm sorry for us all that this event will bestow upon this demon historical notoriety, when the names of the fallen, and the names of the men who brought justice, will be long forgotten with the passing of time. This is what we accept upon taking our oath. I doubt any serviceman involved is going to lose sleep over his own personal fame, but I care, and I am very proud of them all.
