I joined the USGA in June and i have a USGA member number. I got on this web site and joined a compliant golf club in the Houston last week. Do i need to let the USGA know that I am now a member of a golf club to have a USGA handicap, or how does that all work?

All you need to do is post a minimum of 5 rounds and you handicap will be established after the next revision date for your club, usually on the 1st and 15th of the month.
The revision dates are listed on your club's webpage. |
