after thinking for a wile about over and under rated players on the other post i had a hard time answering the question.
SEEMs to me that these tournament are packed with real hard core players. Q school is drawing from all over the world and anyone serviving that test is capable of winning it seems..
the question i have is i see players realizing a Win is the only way to get somewhere on tour or Top 5's The tv coverage only seems to follow the last two or maybe 3 groups and I think these guys are all commin out to not just make a cut but on thursday and friday get off a low low round.
its like Win or bust out there.. they dont even seem to want to make the cut if there not going to be in contention..
Just go out from the start swinging for the fence and see if you can go low.. thats what i see happening on tour.. Catch me if you can Phil and Tiger if i can get up 8 shots on most of the field before the weekend im good otherwise id rather go home and work on the next tournament..

with 30 young guns with the idia of Wide open full throttle from the start of a tournament there always seems to be a few who are having great rounds and distancing them from the everyday tour pros who have been on tour for a wile.. forget moving day saturday. its get off to a massive start and let them just try to catch up.. am i wrong? do they all make enough on tour from endorsments and equipment deals that a steady paycheck and history of making cuts and playin up in the field all season has become worthless?

I really enjoyed yesterday's Back 9. Woodland and Simpson had a really good battle and made some very nice shots along the way. It gets old when people say "Golf's boring unless Tiger and/or Phil are in the mix." C'MON MAN! Byrd-Garrigus at Kapalua was really good, Vegas and Woodland at Bob Hope was really good, Watson, Vegas, Mickelson, and Johnson at Torrey was FANTASTIC, and now this. Can't wait to see something like this at one of this year's majors.

Its so wide open right now which I think is great for the game. CoG is right, hopefully we will have this in all 4 majors this year as well.
